MEET THE PARTNERS:
Enrique Malek Bourdet has lengthy experience in real estate management. After graduating with a bachelor's in business administration from the Universidad de Panama, he dedicated a decade to banking, focusing on mortgages and commercial banking. Enrique also successfully managed his own housing projects in Panama City, where he oversaw various aspects ranging from the development and structuring of the operation from conception to delivery, design, obtaining interim construction financing, handling mortgage pre-approvals, technical coordination, and commercialization direction. As a Realtor, Enrique is now applying his experience in all aspects relevant to real estate dealings and is committed to excellence by achieving his client's total satisfaction, including giving them the best financial advice. Enrique is based in Panama City.
Katherine Malek knows the challenges, excitement, and responsibilities of "moving abroad." She was born and raised in Panama City, Panama, but since her early years, Katherine has been keen to explore the world. At 22 she graduated from the prestigious Institute Hotelier Cesar Ritz in Switzerland and then spent several years living and working in Europe. She then moved to the United States in search of "Culinary Experiences" to add to her Hotel Management expertise. After years abroad, she moved back to Panama, got married, and started a family. During the next 15 years she held various corporate and regional management positions, where once again, she had the opportunity to travel extensively, this time overseeing all of Central America and most of the Caribbean Islands. In 2017 the now family of four moved to Canada! Today, Katherine and her family call Ottawa home, from where she assists anyone interested in finding a home or learning more about investing in Panama. She is happy to be the link between two of the most wonderful countries: Panama and Canada.

Why did we create Sunny Panama Homes?
Sunny Panama Homes was created to solve a need. After many dear Canadian
friends and acquaintances requested guidance and support to find properties to
buy or rent in Panama, we realized it was best to create a one-stop shop for all the
needs anyone may have when thinking about moving temporarily or permanently
to Panama. At Sunny, we treat our customers as friends, and we want to help you
find the best home you ever had.
We consider our more than 30 years of serving important sectors like banking,
tourism, security, and real estate to have given us the unique ability to serve our
